Steven is an award-winning Creative Director and Interaction Designer with over 12 years of focus in interaction, visual, and interface design of: web sites, software, mobile applications, and product design. He’s worked on an array of products for a diverse range of clients and industries such as Amazon, Evernote, Shopsavvy, FOX entertainment, Appcelerator.

Steven was also the cofounder of LikeUs Network, which was the first mobile payments solution focused specifically on the vending industry. Mark Cuban Companies funded this solution.

Steven was a founding partner of a 39Argyle, a boutique mobile design studio with a passion and reputation for creating beautiful and engaging mobile user experiences and visual design for all devices and platforms. Dialexa acquired 39Argyle in 2012.

At Dialexa, Steven leads experience and creative direction partnering closely with clients and developers to create a seamless user experience. He believes that focusing on the user frequently gets shadowed by focusing on the interface and that it’s important to learn about the person and cater the technology to the user and not making the user figure out how to use the technology or interface.

Steven is a graduate of the Art Institute of Dallas and has won two Gold Addy’s from the American Advertising Awards for Publication Design and Web Design. He also won a Communicator Award for Mobile Commerce on the mobile applications he created for Amazon. Steve’s work has been featured in several publications including Forbes, Business Insider, TechCrunch, Mashable, and Engadget.
