As Dialexa’s VP of Marketing, Doug leads all marketing efforts across the organization and is responsible for building the Dialexa vision, driving thought leadership around emerging trends and technologies, and supporting business growth.
Doug brings a wealth of experience and understanding in all areas of marketing. At the same time, he deeply understands technology and how businesses can use digital transformation to create a competitive advantage.
An international marketer with over a decade of experience in the industry, Doug has an extensive record of identifying new technologies and delivering strategic innovation. Doug has helped brands like Microsoft, LG, Toyota, Coca-Cola and Starwood Hotels build deeper engagements with their customers. In his most recent role at iCrossing, he infused advanced digital strategies into the agency’s core competencies by integrating search marketing, paid media, social engagement & content strategy. Doug helped grow iCrossing’s global digital offering to serve their clients with effective scalable solutions.
As both a business and digital entrepreneur, Doug helped grow iCrossing from a regional, boutique agency to a global full-service organization owned by Hearst, where he has served in a leadership capacity in both Europe and the US delivering digital marketing solutions for Fortune 500 companies.
Although he has been in a marketing role for years, Doug started his career in technology and holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Master of Science in Information Technology for eCommerce from the University of Sussex in the UK. During his career Doug has been featured by Mobile Marketer, MediaPost, SEMPO and Pubcon on topics such as search marketing, content strategy and digital media.
